Alfalfa is your best bet. They will eat corn but only if its convenient. They are more of a herd animal than whitetail.

Im trying to get them over to my place too. I have seen them all around my place but never on it. I put half a bale by each feeder last week so hopefully I will start seeing soome. My buddy lives a mile and a half from my place and has a herd of 30 in his back yard every day.

I feed our Axis Alfalfa and the tear it up, they will keep the WT off it and stay till a whole bale is gone.

I've hunted in the Rock Springs area a while now and I've wondered a long time about Axis and pasture cubes. I wonder if I crush some pasture cubes and spread them around, would the Axis eat them and stay a while. Anyone had any experience with pasture cubes and Axis? The white tail around my place love pasture cubes and creep feed.
