Need some advice. I have a 4 year old Diamond (Black Ice). I have not shot it in 3 years. I have 2 weeks to get it ready to hunt. I live in Rockwall who can I take it to locally to have them go over it for me? Or what do I need to do to get it ready?

Brother, I hate to say this but, you're atleast 3 months behind. We, as ethical bow hunters, owe it to the game we are hunting to be on top of our 'game'. I hate reading threads like this on forums You expect to be ready in two weeks after a 3 year layoff??? Good luck with that. Sorry to sound harsh, but I, like many on this site, take bow hunting serious. To us, it's not just a sport, it's a way of life.
Good luck and God Bless you this season.

How many people on here honestly shoot every day for months before the season? Not many. With the equipment today he should have no problems. If he can still pull it back easy, and hold her steady, he should not have an issue. Now, if this was a brand new to bowhunting person, I would be on your wagon as well. Hate seeing the guy walk into the bow shop on opening weekend and say, I am going bowhunting tomorrow, I need a bow and how do they work?
Anyway, I wish him success. I'll bow out now.

I have shot about 20 arrows in the last 2 weeks and I was right on the money other than that I haven't shot since last year. Good luck and shoot as much as you can when you have the chance if you are a little rusty you sure dont want to wound an animal because you are off your game.
