Dumb used car ?

Ok, I just baught a used car from a dealer (my first in Texas) it has no inspection sticker? Will this come with the plates? or do I have to go get this vehicle inspected?

I thought a dealer couldn't sell a car that didn't have a current inspection?

A vehicle with Texas tags require an inspection sticker while it's within the state of Texas.

I was thinking they where gonna give it to me when I got the plates and that the temp plate would prevent me for getting ticketed without one, I have seen tons of new cars with temp lates and no inspection sticker

You have to get it inspected, will not come with plates. Take it to the dealer cause it shoulda been done before you left. I sold cars for 5 years before realizing it sucked.

I can't get my sister on he phone (she has worked for dealers for years) but I am pretty sure it has to be inspected to be sold....hopefully there wasn't some reason it wasn't inspected.
