Have you ever heard of 218 Bee?

I got a hold of a box a while back and was wondering if anyone owned the gun or ever even heard of it?

My cousin has had one since his teen years. Got it from his dad and never hunted much his adult life. I've begged for it several times but he won't sell it. I'd like to shoot a coyote with it sometime but it's illeagle for deer, I believe.

Looks to be a centerfire therefore it's legal for deer, maybe not recommended though.

Real similar to the .22 Hornet. Low powered centerfire round--varmints OK, but not a deer cartridge but would do OK on hogs with someone who can shoot and will limit shots to 150 yds and under--in the ear or neck.

Pretty sure it will work just as good on a deer as it will a hog, not that I would recommend it

I had one as a kid, but was stolen many years ago, I never shot at a deer with it, just "plinked", could have been a Winchester, but don't really remember.

I shot my first deer with a 22hornet, small 8 point from about 75-80 yards.

My uncle has a 218 bee, and yes, very similar

Great little cartridge. When I was younger, I had a friend that killed a bunch of deer with well placed 218 Bee rounds.

Killed my first deer with one have owned several. Fixing to have an encore barrel built in it. It is the 25/20 winchester necked down to 22.
