The one thing I have LOVED about my job was working Feb 2, 2011. I had the very rare opportunity (and enjoyed every minute of it) to "drop load". Instead of doing everything I can to keep the lights on I was ordered by our governing body to shed some electrical load.

The very first load drop was the feed suppling my ex wifes house. Darn, that was no fun...lol.

Can't really think of anything, other than I get to leave and go home every night.

That is worth more than you know! I'm on a rotating swing shift and it seams like I'm at work when my wife is at home and I'm off/home when she's at work. Sux!!!

I agree I spent a total of 18 months over the years in Iraq and it sucks not being able to go "home" every night.

And now the song "One of these things is not like the other" is running in my head. Thanks.

JP8, so you're the one making all that racket I can hear from my house.
