    Scorpions anyone?

This is just crazy! I killed 35 last night alone (outside) and to date well over 100. Only 4 in the house in the past month. I have put out Demon and a couple other pesticides that say they will kill scorpions several times. There is not debris around the house, what grass I have is short, very few trees and none close to the house.

Anyone know of anything besides my number 10 boot that will kill them? I don't mean make them sick, I mean kill them right now!!

a flash light and a boot works for me.

Get a few chickens. I have 6 and I don't see hardly any bugs or spiders around my house.

This is what we use. I am down to finding 1 or 2 every few weeks and even those are dead or close to it. It is the generic version of Talstar P used by the pest control companies.

Froghunter, that has worked the best so far.

Genevieve, I have heard that, chickens and Guineas both work well.

Leef, how many times has you or your family been stung? I would go nuts if I found that many in the house.

I use the Talstar spray as well as sprinkle the Talstar granules around the perimeter of the house out to about 4-5 feet from the base. We have seen a huge difference. I fired our pest control and decided to do it on my own and buy stuff from the link above. Wish I would have done it long ago.

Where abouts in Caldwell do you live? I live south on 36 and heard from our pest control guy that the scropions around Somerville our worse than Caldwell. He said that if you water your yard regularly it will help because they can't get deep in the cracks to avoid the sprays.

Dude...we've killed 2-5 every night since this drought. It's unbelieveable! I've had pest control out here and spent $80 spraying the house. If we can get out of this drought it will get better...on all of us! Dr. D won't even come over anymore. He did some house sitting for me this summer and got stung every night in his sleep. Poor guy. I put my shirt on the other day and one was inside it. Got me 4 times before I could smash him against my shoulder. It's an everyday battle. I feel for you!
