          If he was neutered would he be like a cryptorchid buck and just grow horn all the time (never shed)???

                                you should de horn him as soon as he is in hard horn (talk to your vet). We have a few bottle raised bucks at the university, when you bottle raise they imprint on humans and think of humans as the competition not other deer, which means it will be a human that gets hurt. Many rescue groups wont even raise the bucks!!
