I've got an 07 Crewmax 4x4 with a 2" lift, 305 18's and I average about 13.5. I mix city and highway so much that I can't really differentiate. I also have a heavy front end replacement with winch, so that knocks it down a little.

Did they ever upsize the fuel tanks on these?

Used to be a ~20 gallon tank if I remember correctly.

They are 26 gallon tanks. The gauge shows to be empty and my light comes on at 20 gallons but it has a 6 gallon "reserve". I don't get it but that's the way it is.

I have a 2011 CrewMax 4x4 with a 6" lift. If I drive it easy around town I get about 13 mph, on the highway putting the cruise control on at 65 I can get 16 - 17. If the truck you are looking at has 35" tires like mine, you will see about the same results. One of the first things I did when I put my lift on was install a Hypertech Speedo In-Line Calibrator. It made a big difference on the shift points and the speedometer reads correctly (GPS tested). Another thing to consider is mine has the towing package, so it's a lower geared which helps on gas mileage with the bigger tires.
