Nebraska semi-live hunt

TexasBroadHead and I got into Alma NE about 10 last night. JDM and his buddy will be here tonight.

We are hunting public land for whitetail around Harlan County Lake. This is my first out of state hunt and am dying to get out there!

Weather is great today and tomorrow then warms up on Tuesday. Updates by me, Texas and JDM throughout the hunt!

Rob said deer on the ground, but then told me Eric was the shooter, said it was a 46 yard shot, at that moment I knew it was a joke, maybe a 4 to 6 yard shot I would have believed. Have fun Scouting.

Ha! We have seen 9 feet and one good buck so far. Corn and alfalfa EVERYWHERE! Got spots picked for this evening on alfalfa field. Good trails and runs around. I'll be in a ladder on and E about 200 yards away in a climber.

Found out spot where we saw the buck this morning is public as well. E is out of a climber about 300 yards away and I'll be in a pop up in the morning. Can't wait for this evening!

Time for some lunch, nap, cleanup and see if we can make something happen tonight!
