Seriously, try Square Dancing. My "first" wife and I did this and it was great fun. Find a place to take lessons and give it one try, if you don't like it then "no harm no foul".

Sailing. Probably the most laid back relaxing thing we've ever done together, and so easy its silly.

3-d shooting. I took her bowhunting last season, but she didnot want to shoot a live deer. it was still fun to have her come along and camp out.

Bowling League, game night with several other couples, travel, riding bikes, catching a movie, yard sales, garage sales, and shopping.

I have gathered a lot of knowledge over the years we have been married and applied it to our life together. She likes to shop, and especially the day after Thanksgiving. Several years back I gave up my day after thanksgiving hunt and started taking her to breakfast and shopping with her. It has been rewarding as we generally make it to Bass Pro in Katy where she hits the other stores in the mall. We catch as many stores as she wants in between and make it a day together. My wife is not crazy about sitting in a blind but she will ride to the lease with me on occasion while preparing for season and we stop and eat on the way home at Florida's Kitchen or Shrimp Boat Mannies!
While I know these are not hobbies they are ways of spending time together, and that's what I enjoy the most. When you do what they want to do on a regular basis, you can usually do what you want to without any friction.

                      UT Football games in Austin

UTSA Football games in San Antonio

SPURs games in San Antonio (with couples or together alone)

                      Concerts

                      Movies

Trips to the coast (Port Royal condo - beach, pools and awesome huge rooms that can support several couples). The girls end up piling up around the pool and the guys can go fish and roll in later...shower up....gather the girls and off for the night! This one is one of my favorites..I might add LOL!

Trips to the coast with a fishing guide (the guide and her try to outfish me - they get to use live bait and I can only use Artificials).

Trips out of the USA with other couples..visiting foreign countries etc. Costa Rica.....girls do what they want and the guys can slip in and out doing what they want to...all gathering later to enjoy the evening around a meal before the day is complete etc..

Dinners out at great places to eat with other couples....different and new places to try for the first time. No one at that point can take blame for lousy service, menu etc..since it's a first time visit for all. Something new and different for everyone....we can judge and decide if we want to return as a group etc.

Board games with other couples where it's GUYS vs GIRLS etc. This can be pretty darn fun....especially if you involve a range of various aged couples....each generation has it's strength and this is brought out via the board game. For the older couples...with kids near adult or beyond with their own families = fun for all!

Long walks along the San Antonio riverwalk...when it cools down....especially during Christmas when the lights are out etc. We can do this alone or with other couples....once again.....we can stop off have dinner and drinks and then go back out and walk again etc.

Planning big cook-outs where we (her and I ) cook enough food to feed several couples and have them all over for dinner. The other couples do likewise...inviting us over for dinners at their place.....this cycle just rolls along month after month and the social calendar stays busy.

                      Kayaking, boating....all things water.

Car clubs, bike clubs....atheletic clubs....always better when you can mix other couples into the mix with like interests.
