Waxing a Bow String Korbin's Strings

Hello all! I have read several threads on waxing a bow string. I just did a quick video to show how we do it!

Thanks, good instruction. I have found a piece of smooth leather helps to create additional friction and really work the wax into the string. Is that good or bad?

With the new materials we have found that the old method of using leather will cause more harmful friction to the string than needed. We have several test bows that we have used different methods on, solely for the purpose of this test. The strings that we used a hair dryer on and a leather patch actually lost speed!
