Hog panels

any of you use the 34"x16' hog panles around your feeders? I was going to get 5 ... will hogs jump them? Pics if you have any...

I sure hope not...just put up 6 ( felt 5 were a little small)...

I think the ones I have around a pen trap I have are 52" tall and they can and have jumped out of that pen before....even have a pic of one that didn't make it all the way over and somehow bent the top wire

Never had one get in. Dont think hogs are that flexable. sorry no pictures

I have them surrounding 2 of my bigger feeders, and I've never had a hog break through or jump over. The deer seemed a bit leery of the fence at first, but they got used to it and is no problem now.

Never had them get in our protein feeder pen and we use the 34"X16'.

Never had a hog clear a 34" panel. They aren't that flexible.

Hogs can, and will climb over a 34" tall hog panel if they MUST. They wont usually go over unless they are trapped. Basically what i mean is, it will keep em out of a feeder pen, but wont keep em in the same enclosure. I have never seen one go over unless trapped.

I've only seen a hog go over once to get to the corn. It's rare but it can happen. I've seen several get out once trapped.

i use them but we dont have hogs only javi's and mine are 10 panels.

That is what we have on our feeder pens. They have been there for years and not one pig has gotten in yet. We have tons of pigs too!

Those are what we have allways used. Work just fine. We also run a strand of barbed wire about 4" obove the panel to help keep the cows out.
