A friend and myself are going to have an opportunity to do some mule deer hunting in Hockley County this year. This will be a first for the both of us. What are some pointers on muley hunting?? any and all advice will be appreciated

If they hop it's a mulie. If they run it's a whitetail. Other than that we hunt em the same way. -

Identify them by the butt and nothing else!
A lot of the deer out there are grey looking, as well as the muleys.
Look at some booty pics of the difference and you'll be good.
Other than that, take some good optics, cuz you'll need em
