Hog bash thoughts

I posted a thread last week to see who was entering and no one replied that they were going to hunt it. My friends also have been giving me a hard time about chasing hogs during deer season. That got me to thinking that iam the only one who hunts hogs during bow season. I'll admit after season when its still cool is a great time for hogs, but i have a hard time passing on a pig anytime iam in the woods. Now even with my money paid the right deer is still first priority. The funny thing is the same friends who have been on me, went and shot several hogs at there bow stands (with a rifle no less) yesterday. Iam not trying to rant i guess I just wanted to explain myself and see what yall thought about it. Thanks

im not gonna pass on a hog while im deer hunting but with saying that im not gonna stay out after the sun goes down during deer season either

I won't be staying out after dark either. I need all the beauty sleep i can get

I just checked my camera and I got some pretty good hogs coming in. They are actually showing up in daylight.

I'm not sure that I'd want to be shooting a rifle around my favorite bow stand, a week before the season starts, but maybe that's just me......

I told them if they were gonna shoot pigs any way the should enter The Hog Bash gun division and at least have a chance to win 2 new 25/06's or do like me and go for the New Hoyt Maxxis's. Im gonna try to talk them into entering so we can get rid of a few more of these pigs. Corn costs to much to keep feeding them and deer.
