We have had our lease in Lampasas for a little over 24 years and have only seen 3 pigs and all three have died. These three pigs have been in the past two seasons and all three were boars. I hear people talkin all the time about all the hogs they have around there place down there but we havent had really any to speak of. Just curious about others that hunt in Lampasas and their hog situation. Im not complaining at all about not having them just think its wierd that we dont really have any

We have a high fence property that is on one side of us and it is kind of inbetween us and the river. But another thing is that our landowner has about ten acres of river property about a quarter mile from our lease that we have free run on and I have never seen hogs or even sign of them over there.

I live just north of town, the Little Lucy Creek runs through our back pasture we have had our place since 1994 and have never seen a pig. Many folks nearby, as close as 3 miles as the crow flies have seen them, fortunately we haven't. Really expected this year with the drought to see some moving down the creek looking for water. But so far so good and I hope it stays that way

I have talked to numerous people at walmart and the feedstore complaining about the pigs and one of them only hunts 2 0r 3 miles from us and he said they were covered up in them. If im not mistaken sulphur creek is the one that runs past us and I have never seen it dry before so you would think they would travel it
