    Who uses a thumb release?

I used a tru-ball thumb release this past year and liked it but it's makes a slight popping noise when I'm drawing back now. I plan on getting another thumb release...just wanted to see what everyone else uses.

I use a Tru Fire thumb release and love it. I think it's the 3D camo hunter. Love not having anything strapped on my wrist and it's adjustable several ways. Think I payed 80. for it at Bass Pro.

I have a carter chocolate lite. Love it for targets but not for hunting. Has too much of a twang when triggered. No way to quiet it down. The trigger on it fires just like a rifle though. No trigger travel and you can adjust the poundage.

If you are not afraid of dropping the coin for something that will last for forever, you should step up from the Tru Fire!! Stans, Tru Ball and Carter all have ZERO travel thumbs releases that will make you throw the tru fine in the nearest lake that still has water in it.

I use a Carter Chocolate Lite and like it except for the twang already mentioned and how much it costs

I just saw this one and like it. I'm also looking at the tru-ball pro diamond extreme. Yep, those wrist straps just get in the way whilie moving around in the stand or glassing the brush with bino's. I love not having anything on my wrist.

I use a True Fire and a Scott. One is a "pull" with the thumb and the other is a "push". I like them both and doesn't seem to change anything during the release.

What model was it? The one I am currently using making the popping noise looks like this one.

I use a Tru-Ball,but I've never used anything else.Started bowhunting 5 years ago,and thought the thumb release made perfect sense. Just my opinion.

I tried one (Pro Diamond Extreme) for a while until I brain farted and let it slip outta my hand while drawing back, glad it didn't come back and take my teeth out, my buddy standing behind me about 10 ft gained some bruising after it bounced off his bicep...that's when I quit using it....
