I don't know about an online academy. Of course you know about TrainingDivision.com and their firefighter and paramedic classes, but I've never heard of one for LEO. Maybe call Training Division and ask if they know of any online academies. I will say that an online police academy would have killed me. When I took my academy, it wasn't too bad, but that state TCLEOSE test is a booger, and had I done all my learning online, I would have failed miserably.

TCLEOSE had not approved any online Police Academies as off yet. I have a feeling that it wont be long though. Most college academies will let anyone make it as long as they pay and attend classes. The TCLEOSE test is pretty rough and the academies are judged pretty hard by TCLEOSE. A poor TCLEOSE exam pass rate will shut down an academy.

I just got back from Training Division's headquarters in Crowley. I was taking the last part of my arson investigators course. Anyway, while we were eating lunch, the instructor just out of the blue said that they were working with TCLEOSE really hard right now to set up an online police academy. Might give it a little while and give them a call.
