With so much vegitation burned up, what are y'all doing for brush-ins on your tripods? We have several set-ups in almost completely barren trees. Looking for some good ideas. Thank you in advance!

We hunt in an area with a ton of cedar. Last year, I wanted some background cover on a tripod in a cedar tree and bought some green Christmas garland at Wal Mart. It was in a long string about 10 feet long. Looked very close to cedar. I weaved it through the thin parts I wanted to cover. Even in this blistering sun, it has stayed green for over a year and still looks good. It is pretty cheap and three or four strands will give you a lot of cover. Good luck.

one tripod i have a small rope going between branches in front of me and i hung fake christmas tree branches on it.
another tripod i took the shooting rail and mounted it low on the vertical mounts for the shooting rail. and attached fake christmas tree branches on the ring and on the vertical rail arms.

Take some 1" PVC pipe cut into 4" lengths and zip-tie to different areas of your tripod floor and behind you as well. Use cedar limbs or fake Christmas tree limbs to stick into the PVC pipe to brush yourself in. May have to also put some fresh branches in the burned trees behind you to help cut away your silhouette.
Keep in mind, the colors won't matter, what matters is breaking up your outline.
