I need some Best Man help....

My brother gets married this Saturday. This past weekend he says....

"Hey man my fiance really wants you to give a speech at the wedding now....Sorry for the short notice brother"

I have literally been losing sleep over this because I have no clue what to say and it's going to be in front of like 300 people.....I'm doomed!!! Help!!!

Just keep it simple. It doesn't have to be some elaborate speech.

Be sure to mention how beautiful the bride is, thank her parents for the wonderful wedding, hit on the brides maids, and poke fun at your brother!

Talk about how they set a perfect example of what true love is and that you hope everybody in the world can feel what they have. You are really proud of who your brother is and he will be a great husband and she will be a great wife and a great sis in law. Maybe tell a few jokes to lighten the mood before you get sappy.

Get the crowd into it and relax and talk to them like nobody is listening. wing it and have a good time

To my brother and his beautiful bride,
"Bro's Name here" I have helped you when you've fallen(some times by me) I've been there to help you up,too. Been thru all the questions, and complaints, fights and tears, to this I am proud to say you're my brother.
(brides name) You came into his life and made him complete....you have joined the family and we are so glad you have,
(to the brides family) Thank you for such and awesome lady, and I'll be sure that my brother will treat her as such!
To the brides maids....this was a beautiful wedding...you all helped make it so.
From now on, you(brides name) get to pick him up when he falls, but I want pics!
Congrats to you two....live, love and enjoy life together forever!

Just get up there and say what comes to mind. He's your brother, you've seen him at his best and worst. You'll look over and see how happy he is, and the words will just start flowing out. Have fun with it, keep it light and comical but mix in some serious stuff too. IMHO, an impromptu speech from the heart will mean A LOT more than a prepared one....it did to my brother!

Do NOT say "this is not Stu's first marriage....there was this time in Vegas......"

I did THIS......everyone was still staring at me when i was done...lol

                              it worked out ok

the main thing is to remember most of them are as nervous as you and really too nervous to listen.....just say what comes to heart and mind and it will be over before you know it
