Since Bear hasn't had a long ATA bow for a few years, and all of their major competition has, could we see something in the 35" to 38" range? After all, that has been a consistent question asked on other forums; "Why are of of Bear's bows all so short?" It might help them get a few more 3D and spot shooters interested. It also looks liked they backed off of the pre-loaded limbs a bit.
The bows that have them sure seem to shoot good. Is it about performance or appearance? Personally, I think they look fine - makes the bow look more balanced than if there's just one. Some people don't like the "look" since it is different than other bows. To each his own, but I'll take performance over appearance every time. My Carnage and my son's Attack are great shooting, smooth drawing, fast and quiet bows. That extra suppressor adds a little to that, so I'm cool with it.
Yep. Will you put me in line for your Carnage if you decide to upgrade?
It looks like it has the dual string suppressors again but if you pause the video at 15 secs into it you can see they went away from the preloaded limb and more of a parallel split limb similar to their mauler but with longer limbs. It also has a much larger limb pocket and looks like it has caught up and are using the edge of the limb design for the pockets. The riser also has some serious milling done so it looks light. All in all looks like its going to be pretty light, wicked fast and quiet again. And the name is awesome too. lol
I keep hearing 36" ATA and dual cam. More of a target bow than a hunter, but it would easily work for both. I'd love to pick this one up for 3D and keep the Carnage for hunting.
