387 class deer

this week some of my classmates and i went out to the morgan ranch to do some antler cutting for them. while there we saw some huge deer that they have raised there. one of them was one of the record class deer yrs ago called stickers. but wednesday night i was able to see his 6 yr old son who is scoring around 387 right now. i was able to get within 8 feet of him but standing behind a wall with my head peaking out from behind it. i was speachless when i saw him

That's a bunch of bone, but I'm a sucker for a wide 8 or 10-pt typical with long main beams. Those pen-raised deer just don't look natural to me.
