    Beef tongue?

    What is the best way to cook beef tongue? Would like to know how TBHers do it.

    never tried it, but i'll try anything. I would think lightly grilled in butter and spices. Or boiled.

        Cook it like a pot roast... It's great in the morning tacos... The only cut of beef that can taste you back

              lol oh come on guys!!! I have been watching Andrew Zimmern Bizarre Foods too much. But it does look good. I'm with Playa I'll try anything once.

                Wrap it in some aluminum foil, salt and black pepper, add some blaze or tony's to it and cook it in the oven in a cake pan on 200 for several hours. Take it out and wrap in in some fresh corn tortillas warmed on a comal. Good stuff! Do the same with cheek meat!

                  I like it boiled when done scrape the white skin off of it and sprinkle on dome salt and enjoy

                    1) One bottle of tequila
                    2) One beef tongue

                    Directions
                    Drink bottle of tequila and try to convince yourself to eat beef tongue

                    Just kidding. Never had it

                          They are very tough, so I opted to cook mine in a pressure cooker. I don't have the recipe here, but I added a tomato based sauce and made shredded beef tongue tacos. Everyone in the family ate them including the kids...I just didn't tell them what it was until after they ate it.

                            my mother always boiled it until it was tender and sliced it thin.... I am sure there are better and worse parts to eat...

                              I have never cooked it myself but my brother does....and it is really good. I'll see him tomorrow and find out how he cooks it
