It was filmed Jan. 05. It was an eye opener to see how they filmed the hunt and what the final results on the program were. A few years before Realtree filmed the hunt but it never made it on air. I wish I knew how to get what they filmed, they had 4 cameras going. Actually Devin makes a better writeup every year but unfortunately this is Blaines last year of eligiblity. Kids can only go 3 times.

Mr. Blaine Smith is one heck of a (successful) hunter and a great kid to boot.
Could it be he has some pretty successful parents too? I think so!

Neat. That was the Jan. '05 hunt where Blaine shot his first buck.

Doc Geiger was quite the character. He told all the kids he'd send them a tape of the show and true to form within a month or so after the hunt, we had a tape in the mailbox. He did a great job capturing the essence of that incredible hunt.

I'm always amazed some of the bigger outfits don't pick up that hunt for airing. It'd be an instant hit.
