Feevah for a new bow

Yea I am getting the itch for a new bow. I currently shoot a Mathews Outback.

I know this is a loaded question but what's the badest bow out there right now?

I am leaning hard towards the 2008 Bow Tech General

I'd wait a week or two to see what the new Mathews bow is going to be. There are rumors of a carbon fiber riser. We shall see.

i'm in the same boat you are. nothing wrong w/ my outback, but want to go back to a 70# bow. i shot the general, guardian, marquis, and drenalin today. the bowtechs were hands down faster, but you can't beat the smoothness and ease of draw of the drenalin. mathew's is supposed to release their '08's in w/in the next month. i'd wait for that. if you don't like the '08, there will be plenty of drenalins and XT's for the taking.

I'm waiting for the 82nd and the 101st Airborn bows to come out mid month this month from Bowtech. Check them out on their web page.

I saw one of those PSE X-FORCE bows shot through a chrony a little while back. It was running 340-350 fps. I don't think i would want one though.

Don't know anything about the General but I love my Guardian! Super quite. A lot more quite than either of my Hoyts.

That Mach X is a great shooting bow, quiet, smooth, shock free, and oh yeah--it leaves the other bows eating dust. LOL
