    Crappy Coons

I put 400lbs of Protien/corn in my feeder 2 weeks ago, my buddy just checked the feeder and it is completely empty. Coons got through our varmet cage and spun all the feed out according to our game cams.

You need to try an Eliminator plate.

If a coon and a ten point buck walk out together I may shoot the coon. That's how much I detest them.

Build a better guard, the Eliminator however good they work for everyone else I was still getting my feeder emptied with it, since installing a good guard the problem has been corrected.

We have a varmit guard up but that wasn't keeping them out. We put some mesh about 6 inches outside of that and it seems like it makes it almost impossible for them to reach the spinner plate.

Well.. jeb and I put the metal cloth up on our feeder so hopefully its fixed. we are also going to buy some shark teeth and maybe look into a *******. What russell didn't mention is that the the problem with our feeder is that the varmit cage only has bars that go up and down and not from side to side as well. Also the top of the varmit cage doest even go up the te feeder, there is about a two inch gap. SO once we get a new varmit cage, shark teeth, and possibly a *******, the coons will only be able to eat off the ground... when jeb and I filled our feeder one time this summer, they did the same thing so this wasnt the first time. We thought we had it fixed with a plate infront of the stairs but it was only temporary
