    What's this stand worth?

I'm curious as to what people thought was a good price for a stand. This was left on the lease when I got on and I have a chance to buy it. The base is 2" (ID) galvanized pipe with 1" cross bracing. The box is a 6'x6' and is approximately 10'-12' to the base of the box. The interior and wood frame is in great shape but the exterior could use some paint, sealant in cracks, etc. It's 1/2 plywood exterior on 2x4 walls. I'd say it's a 7 or 8 out of 10. I think they figure it would cost more to go get it than to just leave it and sell it. I plant to re-do the windows one day though.

    Any thoughts or ideas?

$350-400. If they say no they will change their minds when they start breaking it down

Offer them a dollar. I will then give you 2 dollars. Not a bad deal, you double your money.

They said to make an offer and it's mine so I said $100 to be fair and they just laughed. I then asked what they would take, and I was told $500.

The person who left it there told the other guy as long as they were on the lease, he'd leave it there for others to hunt in that spot. I think he'd feel better turning loose of it than just having it sit out there. We all know each other so it's not like it's someone I've never met.

$ 250 - they will find that when they or you start to move that it will be in worse shape than you think.

I wouldn't pay $500 for an older stand like that even if it is worth it. As said above, it would probably be $1200 to $1500 brand new.
$100 is probably too low to get it, but $500 too high. I'd offer about $300 assuming they would rather get $300 than have to take it apart and move it.

No more than $350 (like someone said - you may find its in worse shape than expected - who knows how that thing will react to the lowering and disassembling). You should have laughed back when they said $500 since they laughed at your offer. $500 is wayyy too much for that used stand. I think $350 would be my best offer. Now if they are gonna move it for you OR take down and disassemble for you to move - that is another story. Lumber alone is well worth $350 even if it does need some repairs after it comes down. Dang sure cant build that stand for $350 with used lumber and (LABOR).

                            Offer them 250 dollars.
If they say no, tell them to have it off the lease by Monday.

Might want to consider the fact that you couldn't build that stand for $500. If it's in a location you like and they are friends you might want to offer less but be willing to step up and pay the asking price if necessary.
