2011 Colorado Elk Hunt

Ladies and Gentleman if God blesses me with health and strength exactly one week from now I will be on the road to Colorado to hunt elk! I am so pumped! Gonna get everything packed this weekend and I will be sure to update with pics along the way when I can. I am so excited I can barely sit down!

Thank y'all for all the good luck wishes.... I got back on Sunday.....elkless.... but I had a wonderful time, would go back in a heartbeat, and I am already planning my attack for next year!

Wednesday morning I had the only elk I saw while hunting, a 5X5 at 40 yards but couldn't take the shot due to trees between me and him before he turned and went out of site and out of my life....lol... Did see a bunch of elk down low on private property the day before my hunt... really got me psyched. Below are pics of some of the awesome scenery I was blessed with.
