Shooting problem.

I have had this problem for quite sometime and cant fix it, When I draw and begin to shoot if I have my trigger finger on my trigger on the release I always get impatciente and squeeze to early but if I hold it behind the trigger once I get a steady aim I lunge my finger foward and jerk the trigger.
Anyone have a tip or might be able to tell me my problem?

either keep your finger pointed straight out until you are ready to squeeze off or behind the trigger.

Probably should anyways. It's not a bad practice

try a different style release

There is at least one brand of release out there that has a spring type trigger. It can't be punched - won't fire. It will only fire when gradually squeezed.
