i was 7 years old and used a 30.30 H&R single shot, he was a 4 pointer, that has been over 30 years ago.

Killed me a bar(bear) when I was only 3....No, wait...that was Davey Crockett. I was 10 or 11 when I killed my first deer with a .243. It was a spike.

8 years old,used a .243 ruger M77 100 grain bullet,4 point ,neck shot,Comfort,Tx sitting on papas lap.The deer he was looking at and the deer I shot were 2 different deer,he thought I was shooting at the eight point,wouldnt change it for the world,he now hangs in my sons room who is 5.

I was 8 and shot a little nubbin buck with my dad's 30-06 which I now have. It was a foggy morning and I was hunting with a 12 gauge with 2 buck shot. I shot and missed woth both shells and the deer never moved, so the only thing left was the 30-06. My dad was terrified of the scope hitting me and held on to the butt of the stock. Lined him up and dropped it. This all took place in a rickety treestand too.

Yep.... It was confirmed by other at camp.
My shot was the only one heard that morning. And they watched this jackhole, who ofcorse claimed it as his, pack the deer (not even field dressed... Red flag!) and all his gear up and haul tail. 12 year old boy.... Crushed....
