Pit build.

Pit build along. Lots of pictures. The pit is 90% complete. Now to finish out the trailer.
Started with a propane tank. Removed 18" of it.







Welded the cap back on and cut the door.






Built the fire box.





Joined the two. Put a dampener in between and mounted on trailer.

Glad you were behind the camera and not behind the handle of that welder. I liked the grease zerts on the hinges. Should keep them from seizing up over time. However, when they get hot will the grease weap out and make a mess?

Those are called billet (sp) hinges. zerk is made on. We put never seize on them and welded them up. It didn't come out so hopefully high temp grease will be ok also. If they don't work out will just have to cut them off and try something else.
