    Ideas for a trophy room???

My girlfriend is going to be designing a trophy room for a pretty prominent country music singer (can't say the name, but wanted to give some background of the person). She asked me to ask you guys, being the avid sportsmen we are, "If money was no problem, and you had 100+ mounts from all over the world, what kind of ways would you want to have them displayed in the room." Features, props, lighting, seating, displays, shelving, etc. Really just any ideas of what your dream trophy room would look like. Post some of your own trophy rooms if you want, any ideas will be great.

mine had very tall ceilings, it was wood from the floor up to 40 inches. a chair rail on top of the wood ,then plaid wall paperup to 8 feet. another wood railing there and then hunter green up to ceiling. all my mounts were mounted in the hunter green, they looked awesome and provided a great look from below which gave them a totally different look then you get looking directly at them.

I would have either dark oak, or pecan panelled areas or walls for the shoulder type mounts. A special valuted ceiling for particular animals that need to be hung high or possible fowl hanging mounts.

I would not use spot lighting going down the walls and not on animals. I would definitely have some sort of fireplace that had an integrated rock or mountainous type setting for any sheep, caribou, or bear type mounts.

I would also have some sort of small type fish pond that had fish mounts as well as live fish integrated together with smaller type game around it. Varmints and deer type animals.

I could probably go on and on. I think I spared no expense at this point though.

Oh, and as far as seating and stuff, I would go with a lodge/bar type setting. I would have a pool table and shuffle board type big boys game room set up within the trophies.

            A real man room!!!

I'd plywood behind the sheetrock so I could hang anything I wanted where ever I wanted it. I always thought if the room was big enough I'd like to put a full wall mural. Some short of picture that reminded me of a place I'd like to be. A big full size rock fire place. I like the look of cedar siding or old rustic wood. If I had a room that was very large I like a stone ledge to place full body mounts.

How big is the room going to be.

Hey if it's Troy Gentry maybe some chainlink fencing on the walls and a pic of a bear at the zoo.
