Thanks for all the input! Now I need to give my best sales pitch ever and convince my better half all the memories we will make with the kiddos!

Just bought a mule 4010 trans. Shorter wheel base was one of the reasons.

I have the regular Ranger, thought about the Crew, but didn't. Was concerned about turning radius, hunting in the Piney Woods. Probably would not have made that much difference. I have to haul all my friends deer and corn while they ride their 4 wheeler. Have not been sorry about the Ranger. Have friends with the Crew and they love them.

            Ranger top?

Are you Ranger owners using a hard top?

Is it a problem while towing it on a trailer?

Pardon the thread hijack but I guess I can't start a new thread since I'm new.

I bought one the other day. I was shocked at the smoothness! It just glides over the worse bumps!

have a crew we quail hunt with. flatbed with dog boxes and high rack and had 8 grown men and 8 dogs and crawled all over some really loose sand dunes and it never skipped a beat. one thing though is the wheel base is really long for this ground clearance and it tends to skid over a lot of stuff. we lifted it 3 inches and put on some bigger kevlar tires and that really helped. also the older ones pre 2007 have overheating issues.
