    Cedar trees for rubs

This past weekend I found 2 nice rubs on what i thought were cypress trees, I talked to a buddy of mine and he shared that deer in the Sam Houston National Forest love to seek out Cedar trees for their rubs. I checked photos on-line and it turns out the trees I found rubs on were cedar trees. i found 3 monster rubs last year on cedar trees as well. The texture of the wood shreds really easily and the bucks love it. So anyone hunting the SHNF should look for rubs whenever they see a cedar tree. Woody
