This Was a Wierd Experience...

Sat. morning 3 pigs came in and I picked out the biggest sow. I hit her, she squeeled and they ran off. When I got down 2 hours later, I walked over to where she was standing, to start the blood trail.
When I looked down, this is what I found:

The shot was definitely a little further back than I expected.
You can see a razor slice along the spine of the piglett. It was a blow-out.

My buddy Will did that one year at the Callaghan,,shot her in the uterous splitting the placenta..thus leaving us a trailof blood and babies..and a sow that wasnt happy...we ended up getting her 5 hours later,,making another kill shot,,got in trouble from the ranch manager for not calling for help..it went kinda like this,,GOT BLOOD,,,Got another Baby got blood,,oh chit there she is,,there she goes,,hers blood ,,anyway..Good job hope you recovered her.. I did have to throw away my coveralls after that search and got to shoot a kill shot on a sow left handed
