First Dove!!!

For 1 year old Belle. 7 birds down, seven delivered to hand. She was steady but needs to focus on the sky a little bit harder when the gun goes off. She didn't see a couple of them fall and had to be lined up and sent. Still very pleased for her first time out.





Hunting was SLOW, only seven birds all day. Shells just begging to be fired...



Wife tagged along on the afternoon hunt.

Great pics and looks like Belle did awsome! My Bella the same age unfortunately did not do as well. When multiple shotguns started going off she said he** to the no and decided to guard the cooler. Oh well I will keep trying.

I'm in the same boat Gen. I didn't hit any but I scared the heck out of a few!
I shoot a DB blackpowder shotgun and on my first day out every year I lead too far!

Bella and Hank are nice looking pups as well. Gonna take my nine year old lab out this afternoon and see if we can survive the heat together and maybe scratch out a few birds. He was ticked he got left at home yesterday.
