I like the concept, just don't like the price!! I think it will do a great job though.

I think I've seen a DIY ghost blind video on YouTube before. Dint remember but I imagine you could make it with some mirror tint and some sheets of plastic maybe like those things that they used to sell that you put inside a trash bag when doing yard work to hold it open

I have one and it works great for turkey. Have not used it for deer yet but may need it for a quick set up this year. I'm on a new lease and if my set up isn't working out right I can set up the ghost blind where I need to.

I just saw the video on you tube. And his didnt have a camo backing. And the price is 245, Now after buying materials and screwing things up like I do. I think my time is more valueable than building one. You can mow your yard and save 50 dollars but people pay me all the time. If you want something halfass then build your own. But I think Im still going to get it from the orginal builders. Why would I save money and make my wife happy screw that.

Here you go, YouTube DIY "Casper Blind" :

                        http://www.youtube.com/user/bowhunte.../9/sjUJyXE3jhY

Seems pretty easy, but I've seen GhostBlind knockoffs in the Sportsman's Guide that cost about the same as all the materials needed for this DIY.

                        http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/c....aspx?a=826599

However if you have the material laying around why not put it to good use?

I priced out the materials when I was thinking of making one myself and it's honestly cheaper and faster to just buy one by quiet a bit too.

Add up how much you have spent on hunting, then add up how much you have spent on her. Show her the difference (ONLY DO THIS IF YOU HAVE SPENT A SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT MORE ON HER).

Don't forget when figuring to add in the price of food, housing, electric, gifts, cars, insurance, etc. If you're daring you'll also put an hourly price on how much time you've spent with her.

Make sure when you present this to her you have a hidden camera operating. It will be entertaining for us, and beneficial to you in criminal and divorce court.

Thanks for all the comments, and if you rationed out the money she makes and the percent on her i could never buy my self enough stuff. So this is a done deal, now the only question left is one or 2
