    treestand placement question Help Please

    [IMG][/IMG]
So here is the farm I hunt. I am wondering about the area where the squiggly yellow lines are.All the red dots are stands and the blue are feeders. The yellow are food plots. The very north is a rifle stand as is the very south red dot. The one to the very west that is closest to the feeder is a tripod and so is the red dot in the treeline where all the squigly yellow lines are. I bought a gametamer type stand this year and I am anxious to put is up around the feeder that is in the squiggly line area. The tripod is set up for a south wind. I am trying to figure out where to put the treestand that would be the most advantageous for this same spot with the prevailing winds during hunting season if it is not a south wind. Do you guys think it would be better to be to the east or west of the feeder.

My .02 is the East if I'm understanding. The wind comes out of the north, north west, west, southwest and south mostly. So putting it in the east would keep your scent from being in the line of approach from the tree areas.

They cant approach or at least they havent in the past because the creek is right there.
