    Let's see your gun safe...

I have an older amsec too but this one is pretty neat...best we can guess is it was used to store diamonds & weighs an estimated 5000lbs. It has two holes on the top of it about an inch in diameter that I assume were the eye bolts to lift it off the cargo ships.

My locksmith couldn't find too much on it but is guessing the walls are filled with asbestos

The LaRue pic is for my amiga M2

Ha Ha, good one. I don't own any guns. I lost them all in a boating accident five years ago

That's a monster safe! I wish I had one that big to fill!

I need to order myself a couple of LaRue stickers.

I had both of my gun safes with me on the trip. When the boat filled with water and started to go down, it listed hard and we had to dump them to get her straight. We lost everything. Bad part is we didn't have a GPS to tell us where they were. I'm still sad..

Seriously, that is a nice safe you got there!

wanna hear something silly?? I was able to renew my CHL online today & it was my 4th renewal so good for 10yrs and done. However, I had to run down & stand in line at the dps office because i was due for an eye check & new photo for my DL It was the strangest 30mins of my life and felt like i was in bizzaro land.

lotsa strange folks out there...times are changing or i'm getting old.

I notice nobody has commented about the origin.

I noticed it was from SA but you had mentioned diamonds so I figured it had to be linked to SA some way

I don't own a safe but thinking about building a bunker in place of the barn to store my hay in
