I use them to keep the deer out of my yard. I wouldn't recommend putting them where you are trying to hunt.

I put 3 or 4 in my lease trailer and under it every time I leave it for over a couple weeks.
To many are poisonus. I also put some in a can under my 4-wheeler and on the rack under my Yak to keep the rat and spiders out! As far as the deer go, don't bother them at all at my house.
