I started hunting Lincoln back in 98. Back then the ranch was sweet. It seems a little harder to find a shooter these days. October has always been tough hunting. Its ususally so green. It would take at least 2 days for the deer to find your corn in the tall grass. Hopefully they will come by a shake of a bucket this year. We need a good cold front opening weekend.

Only advice I have is have a couple secondarys spots with a camera. Don't feed alot of corn and spread it well. The mature bucks seem to get spooked. Cover your blind well and keep it off the road at least 15 to 20 yards. Watch the wind. Have a spot so if the wind changes you can hop on the other side of the road and be ok or you can hunt a secondary spot.
