    Elk Hunt Packing Check List?

I know I have seen one on here somewhere that was good and I used it last year, but cannot find it anywhere.

Anyone have one that they use or know the one I'm talking about?

Well look at the bright side- If you leave something important just drive home and get it. As long as you have a hydration system-rain gear- and snacks I figure nothing else is going to ruin a hunt if you leave it.

To me it depends on if you are doing a wilderness/wall tent type hunt or if you have a nice cabin to come too.

We have a nice camp house to come to after every hunt....here's what I take in my pack.

                  gps
                  rangefinder
                  2 knives
                  facepaint
                  chapstick
                  Elk estrus pee
                  Headlight and Flashlight
                  Binocs
                  Water
                  scent checker
                  Gerber folding hand saw
                  batteries
                  latex gloves
                  flagging tape
                  license tag (zip ties)
                  pen
                  extra pair of gloves
                  hi carb snacks
                  calls
                  compass/mirror
                  phone
                  walkie talkie
                  small knife sharpener
                  waterproof matches

You should take alot more if hunting in a wilderness/wall tent scenario

You forgot the handle of crown. That would ruin the hunt if left behind.
