What the heck happened to the rain and low 90s forecasted???

I knew it was too good to be true - is it just me or is all the rain and highs in lower 90s that were forecasted to start this Friday thru Sunday now going away to no rain and high 90s????? First shot at rain and the weathermen cant even get it right - first time they have had to do anything all year. I know if I was a weatherman in this drought, I would want to make darn sure I was certain before saying anything about rain.

I was pretty upset this morning when I checked also. It went from 60% from this Thursday until Friday of next week. Solid 60 across the board! Then this morning..... Well I don't know what happened!!

For the Waco area this is what the local guy says.

I hate being the bearer of less than great news, but new forecast data shows the previously mentioned "Tutt" low may be robbed of the rich gulf moisture needed for widespread rain late this week. All of our data models are generating some type of tropical system in the Gulf. Most of the moisture gets tied to this feature, which in turn may be shunted southwest Sunday as a front moves through North Texas. Hey...good news, while rain may be at a premium, clouds should hold temps down in the 90's mid to late week! Okay...let the grumbling begin...
