Game cam pics, i have been thinking about buying one for in the field use. You can buy a camera/SD card adapter for them. Anybody using one for this and what do you think about it?

I am not an IPAD user but looks easy enough. -
I use mine for it. It works great. Easy to load pics. Easier to go through them. You can highlight and view small areas of the pics really easy. I find lots of surprises in the backgrounds that I probably missed before. Most of the biggest deer at our lease are very good at staying out of the center of the pics.Comment

Would think they would work great for it. A bit pricey for a game cam pic viewer so I don't think I would have one just for field use. The abilities of the Ipad should work great for viewing pics.Comment

Yep, it does work, but I stop using mine cause of the time it takes for it to download the 100's or sometimes 1000's of pictures recorded on the sd card. It will handle it though just not fast enough for me. Went back to swapping cards. I could see using it as an option if my lease or land was a road trip getting there and I was going to make camp or stay there. Place is only about 40 to 45 minutes away so for me I would rather swap and view later.Comment
