            I see, and that will keep the racoons and squirrels at bay. The majestic, and at the same time horrifying, creature inbound toward your feeder requires a special $200 anti-aircraft, talon-proof, spinner. I think they are called the "Beaklimanitor." Ya gotta hurry and get one soon, because they are "flying" off of the shelves!


            By the way, I am in the Black Vulture camp on this one. The plumage around the legs is long and full like a vulture. The plumage on a crow or raven's leg is shorter and much less dense.

              I went back over my pictures and found this bird. Not sure why a buzzard would be hanging out at my feeder.
