catahoula / black mouth cur mix

Any opinions out there on catahoula / black mouth cur mixed puppies? Found some that look pretty good. Will use to occasionally track but mostly a companion.

I live in the country so space to train / roam / exercise is not an issue. Also, whats the consensus on male V. female?

Can't go wrong with the leopard dog part... dunno about the cur part
both are workin dogs.. but I'll let the experts chime in with a real valid opinion

They are basically thr same dog. I am concerned about the living in the country so they have plenty of room to roam part....Unless you work at home or have over a 1000 acres the dog needs to be penned or chained. If not it will become a problem in a hurry. These dogs have a lot of drive and are not going to sit on the porch for 9 hours waiting on you to get home from work.

I meant that it will not be in the city, I have kennels at the house. Sorry for the confusion.

Its all good. I hope I did not come across as harsh but when you have horses and cows tun though a fence because of town dogs you get...well sensitive....LOL. Good luck with the new pup.
