    trouble seeing

I wear glasses when I shoot I have a G5 peep when I look thru the peep my pins are blurry but I can see my target just fine . I was wandering if anyone has used a sight lenses magnifier or a magnified peep sight to help correct the problem

I have same problem and I have glasses but never wear them. I just aim the fuzzy pin and shoot.

Take a look at specialty archery. You may need to bet one of their peep sights with the threaded apertures. You can then get what they call a verifier that is a small lense that will screw into the peep. This will probably help fix your problem.

I had the same problem, and the Specialty Archery Verifier fixed it. There are several different strength lenses, and the stores that sell the Verifier have a demo unit that lets you try the different lenses to pick the right one. Contact Specialty to find a dealer near you. The peep is heavier than a normal one, and probably costs you a few fps, but it's well worth the clear pins. The sight itself is not magnified. If you want to do that (I did not) they sell a Clarifier lens kit.

They absolutely work. The owner of one local archery shop does not hunt without one. Same here.

I can vouch for them also. The key is getting the right strength verifier lens. Too strong and the pins will be clear but the target will be blurry. You want one just strong enough to bring your sight window (pins) in focus and your target will remain clear.

I have had issues with blurry sights . Long story short I shoot with my non dominant eye but I also wear glasses which compounded my blurrynes. One of my problems was that towards the inner part (by nose) of a prescription lense it get blurry. I had to add about 1/2" tp my DL so that I could relocate my string to the side of my nostral. Worked really great for me. You might want to test this theory by drawing back, anchoring normally but then turn your head slightly away from your trigger finger and see if your vision clears up. I am by no means an expert archer or anything but I fought blurry sights for a few seasons until I figured this out.

Ask your eye doc about moving the focal point of the prescription towards the inner part of the lense. I had a pair made this way just for shooting. No adjustments necessary for anchoring. You probably will still need a varifier though.
