Duck hunting memberships?

Does anyone lease a place just for duck hunting? Going to look at a large ranch tommorow to lease and it has some EXCELLENT duck hunting. Was thinking of maybe offering a few duck only spots. How much do they usually run? Big place with wheat fields and sloughs on the red river?

A good ducklease runs dang near the same price as a good deerlease. $1000 to $2000 a spot.

We pay 300 for ours and shoot a ton of birds!

I've seen decent one's go for 500-800 for the season, including early teal.

Will let ya know, i am going to see it tommorow, so main thing is the deer hunting so if there is a way it will not clash i may do a few duck memberships.

I don't know the property, so it's hard to say. The only way I would think it wouldn't clash is if the duck lease wasn't offered until January. The problem is serious duck hunters would never go for that!

Duck hunting and deer hunting at the same time is a bad mix. May work out on a large place. Good luck either way.
