    How do you dry?

Just wondering how yall wash your hunting cloths and if you use dryer or hang them on the cloths line? And what kind of laundry detergent do you recommend?

I wash them in scent free detergent without UV brighteners. I dry in the dryer with no dryer sheets on low heat. Then I rub them with crushed cedar when I'm actually hunting.

I use the nonscented Sports Wash from Walmart. Usually is found with the hunting gear this time of year but can be found in the camping supplies any other time.

I dry them using the dryer and then hang them outside to air out. Spray them down with some scent elimanator. Once they hang for a few weeks I'll place them in a rubber tote box (still leave it outside on the porch) with small pine limbs on the bottom and top of the clothes.

I use any perfume and dye free laundry detergent for the grocery store. A whole lot cheaper than detergent from the sporting goods department. It is every bit as good and works. Dry in the dryer on low heat and immediately put in plastic bag. No problems. Didn't get scented once last year.

I washed in scent free, and dried my clothes in the dryer with scent free dryer sheets, then packed them in my tote. I would hang my clothes outside the night before I went hunting, and put them on outside. I would then spray myself with whatever cover scent whenever i got about 200-300 yards from my blind.

I wash in scent free soap and dry on the clothes line, then seal in vacuum bags until I'm ready to wear.

I would use branches from the area your hunting in. If you don't have cedars in your area the deer will probably become curious, but may become alarmed. Pine or even oak may be better, so longas it's native.

I buy the hunting detergent when its on sale. Dry in dryer and put in Hunters specialties scent bags. Think this year in Kansas I will grab some cut corn stalks and put them in the bag with my clothes too.
