need input on nightforce ballistics software/dell axim set up

I have a couple of dell axims(x-3 & X50) that I'm wanting to install NF ballistics software onto. There is a CD-rom version(load into your computer then to the axim) or a SD type card insert you plug directly into the unit. Does anyone here use either of these set ups? I'm looking for feedback on which system application I should buy?

Either works equally well, the SD card may give you more options for use on different platforms. That's a great software product.
