Not sure,south is closer to home,but got a report on the north side of three shooter bucks together last Saturday.

I am! I probibly stay on the north side and will probibly be a week day hunter only. I ve found some great sign and sighted a couple nice bucks already.
The archery permits were available to the first 100 applicants and they are out. A buddy of mine tried last week and he was SOL.

I am in as well. Have got a few stand sites in mind both north and south. Got some more scouting to do yet though. One thing I must say is that every place I've scouted has had awesome sign. Just a matter of finding the locations that give me the best odds. The problems that I've run into in the past hunting Lake Waco in October is buck movement always seems to be at a minimum. Hopefully this year will be different since the entire 3k acres is open to hunt and we are not stuck to one area.
